Class 1 – Who we are and what we do

Class 2 – What we spend and how we spend it

The Practice receives money from NHS Wales according to its contract for national General Medical Services in exchange for services provided for patients.

This information can be obtained on request in writing to the Practice Manager . The Practice Manager can be contacted at reception.W98019@wales.nhs.uk

There may be circumstances where material cannot be released because it is confidential or commercial information or the appropriate officer designated for these purposes, under the Act, has taken the view that it may be prejudicial to the conduct of the Practice’s affairs.

If this is the case, we will respond to your FOI request with a formal letter acknowledging the reasons why we are unable to give you this information.

We do not wish to publish our annual salaries, but they are available on request.

Class 3 – What our priorities are and how we are doing

  • Working closely with our Afan Cluster colleagues to develop services for patients across the Afan Cluster
  • Working towards achieving required standards within the Welsh Government QAIF (Quality and Information Framework), Access Standards, Medicines Management, Patient Safety, CGPSAT and IG toolkit 
  • The practice was last inspected 2019 and is probably due to be inspected by HIW (Health Inspectorate Wales ) in the near future. This report will then be published here.

Class 4 – How we make decisions

The Practice team is made up of Salaried GPs,Pharmacist,Practice Managers and Nursing Team.

The Team aims to meet weekly. The minutes of these meetings cover a wide range of topics including confidential patient data which is why we do not provide a copy of the minutes. Extracts of these meeting can be requested in writing to the Business Support Manager, stating the information you are interested in.
